With Hawaii’s long maritime history, Oahu is at the center of the action when it comes to shipwrecks. With nine wrecks sunken at depths within recreational limits, Oahu wreck diving is second to none. We have military wrecks from World War II and the Korean War eras, as well as commercial vessels that were sunk as artificial reefs. These vessels have become amazing habitats for scuba divers to observe a wide variety of marine life, including over 400 species of fish found only here in Hawaii.

Because  Oahu is a volcanic island, the underwater landscapes features unique structures covered in some of the most beautiful coral in the south Pacific. Coral reef scuba tours are a great way to dive Oahu for both beginning and experienced scuba divers offering shallower depths and diverse marine life. Photographers are guaranteed to find some beautiful subjects for their Hawaii photo albums! Keep your eyes peeled for Hawaiian sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, frogfish, harlequin shrimp, dragon moray eels, white tip reef sharks and the endangered Hawaiian monk seal.

Pearl Harbor Divers is synonymous with excellence in diver training.

We offer a variety of scuba certification courses from a variety of certifying agencies, including NAUI, PADI, SDI/TDI, HSA & DAN.

Scuba course offerings range from beginning open water Scuba Diver, Advanced Scuba Diver, Scuba Rescue Diver, Master Scuba Diver, Nitrox Diver, Divemaster, Scuba Instructor and Instructor Trainer.

We are the only Oahu dive center authorized to train and certify divers on the Poseidon MkVI closed-circuit rebreather. In fact, we are the only authorized Hawaii dive center for training on the MkVI .

In addition, we offer a wide variety of specialty scuba diving courses and emergency training. All courses are taught as private instruction centered around your schedule, with an option for semi-private or group classes.

Want to try Scuba Diving on Oahu? We offer NAUI Passport Diver, our introductory scuba experience for first-timers. NAUI Passport Diver and the new NAUI Tandem Diver one-on-one experience will help introduce you to scuba diving in Hawaii at your own pace.

E-Learning

We realize that every student learns differently and at their own pace.  As such, we are proud to offer our core courses, as well as many specialty classes, through a variety of e-Learning options.  For the recreational SCUBA Diver e-Learning offers a way to complete the academic portion of the class before setting foot in our store.  This option is particularly helpful for those with busy schedules or planning a visit to O’ahu, by allowing you to learn at your convenience prior to starting your class.   The best part, you still get the personalized attention of a classroom setting.  If you need help understand a topic or simply have a question, these programs provide quick access to our instructors for help.
